Welcome to Suzanne's website, which was originally set up for my book Ethics of a Psychic Reading. Since then I've written, and published lots more, with the most recent being What Glass Ceiling? which is a memoir of an extraordinary Australian woman whose achievements have been recognised by but not limited to the National Pioneer Women's Hall of Fame, and BORAL for 2021 International Women's Day.
My other publications in 2021 and 2020 include my short story based on the NSW South Coast 'Black Summer' bushfires and its impact particularly on an extreme hypersensitivity to sounds and chronic pain condition. Firestorm Sounds was published in the anthology Oz is Burning by B-Cubed Press. Two more of my stories Surrounded; A Year On and a poem Hope? Too Soon? were published in the anthology Beneath an Ominous Sky by writers in the Fellowship of Australian Writers Eurobodalla night and day groups plus other writers in the region.
Over the past eight years I've also published other short stories, and articles, as well as four co-authored novellas. Currently I'm writing a transformational style story on coping with and overcoming the impact of chronic pain, and from 2015 to 2019 I wrote in PnP Authors' magazine 'Suzanne's Health Corner', on different perspectives of pain management.
Access to various published works is via Bookstore and Books and Articles. The latter includes contributions to the International Psychics Association annual magazine, Life Research, co-authored novellas, anthologies, and other articles. I continue researching and writing on Tai Chi, Qigong and meditation for chronic pain, Fibromyalgia, hypersensitivities especially to sound, and Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, and submissions to various organisations and peer-researched Studies to provide comment from a lived-experience .
I appreciate comments, feedback, questions, and suggestions for themes on psychic, spiritual or paranormal phenomena; meditation; coping, dealing or living with chronic pain; as well as Tai Chi, and Qigong. While I only answer questions of a specific nature within a personal, online, or phone consultation or reading which is for my client only, for any questions or comments of a general nature I might use relevant parts of my answers as a basis of a blog or other information article or post, to educate and inform others.
All communication is responded to by me rather than an autoreply so please be patient as it might take a while to reply - but I do respond.
In light and happiness
Blessings
Suzanne

What Glass Ceiling?

What Glass Ceiling? Patricia Julianne Evans (nee Morris): a memoir tells the story of Patricia Evans' memories of life commencing in childhood with how her determination and independence developed, to gaining her certification as a Federal Accountant in 1948 and entering the male-dominated executive world. In 1949 21-year-old Patricia Morris became the first female accountant employed by Bitumen and Oil Refineries (Australia) Limited (BORAL). In 1956 married and a mother, Patricia achieved certification as a Chartered Secretary at a time when lifting of the Australian Marriage Bar to married women working in many areas of employment was still a decade away. In 1968, only two years after the Mariage Bar was lifted Patricia secured the first of many family-friendly workplace inclusions in her employment contracts. Her success throughout life influenced other women to do likewise.

On the day of her online talk a umber of women and men employees gathered to hear this inspiring remarkable woman speak of her experiences and memories pioneering executive roles for women in the company.

Skeptic tho' I am this book is well structured, well researched--and referenced--and above all, well written. The author is obviously genuine in her beliefs and has made a serious effort to write a good, readable and well produced book on her passion.

For people intent on joining the psychic world, this primer is a must read before embarking on your healing journey.
Celeste Cooper, RN, author, advocate
Newnham's experience as a medium and healing therapist has done her well. It has given her knowledge and understanding in the hidden and intricate nuances of working with energy and the world of Spirit. As I review this volume, I sense her love of humankind and sincere wish to impart positive and uplifting data to those who are interested in psychic and medium information. There are folks who are just embarking in the spiritual and energetic work as well as those who have been steeped in the work for many years. Each category will gain unbounded assistance in recognizing the proper way to work in the public forum. Also advanced in this book is the general public wishing to receive genuine psychic/medium readings, but not knowing the proper things to look for or pursue.
One area that Suzanne expands is to understand that a psychic and medium reader has a very strong responsibility when working with someone else?s energy. This covers the idea of ethics and how a reader engages with their client and how they receive psychic and spirit information.
She does not spend time teaching the development of the gifts, but helping us understand what a reputable reading looks like, the different levels involved, and the dynamics of a reader. She shares the differences between the terms intuitive, psychic, and medium, and all the finer levels dealing with each.
In her book, Ethics of a Psychic Reading, you can find out about: haunted houses, channeling, phone readings, psychic fairs, finding evidence of a loved one in spirit, ethical behavior in psychic readings, how to act as a client, and how a reader should act, cold readings and ?fishing? for information, and why you might want a reading from a psychic or medium.
All in all, Suzanne Newnham has addressed anything and everything you could possibly want to know (and then some) about giving or receiving a reading.
