From 1949, a pioneer of women in the executive workforce, mentoring others to step out of society's expectations of women and the disadvantaged whatever their perceived handicap. Patricia Evans (Morris), my mother, didn't just break the glass ceiling for women in the workforce, for her the ceiling never really existed! As part of a larger project in telling this awesome woman’s inspiring story, her challenges and achievements, I recently interviewed Mamma for Boral Australia 70th anniversary about being their first female accountant in 1949. Patricia’s story has been published in the Profile section December 2016 edition of the Boral News page 06&07 (pg8/9 of 24). I really admire women like her. She doesn't seem to be the type to depend on other people for daily needs. She is very hard working and independent. She is an inspiration to all feminist out there, who strive to be in an equal light with men. I hope that more people find time to become more like her and do their work much more diligently.
